NAPPANEE – Miriam A. Brenneman, 96, of Nappanee, died at 8:18 p.m. Oct. 20, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Syracuse.
She was born Feb. 10, 1916, in Nappanee, to Lon and Valley Hollar Geyer. In 1979, she married George Brenneman, who died in 1985.
She was a 1939 graduate of Nappanee High School.  She was a former switchboard operator and was a receptionist for many years at Miles Laboratory until her retirement. She was a member of Nappanee Church of the Brethren, Nappanee American Legion Auxiliary and War Mothers.
Surviving are two sons, Pat (and spouse Ronda) Neibert, Milford, and Jerry (and spouse Nancy) Neibert, Syracuse; a daughter, Susan (and spouse Albert) Wimmer, Syracuse; two grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.
Calling is from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
