WABASH – Mintie Kerr, 82, of Wabash, died at 1:25 p.m. June 17, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Wabash.
She was born Jan. 18, 1930, in Floyd County, Ky., to Gordon and Mary Sluss Porter. She married James A. Taylor, who died March 2, 1991. She then married James H. Kerr, who died Nov. 4, 2001.
Surviving are two sons; five daughters, including Elizabeth Winchester, Milford; a stepdaughter; a brother; two sisters; 36 grandchildren; and 59 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, a brother, a sister, a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at McDonald Funeral Home, Wabash, officiated by Pastor Tim Tyner.
