Minor Injuries After Car Lands On SideA woman and her toddler son had to be extracted from a vehicle after it went off the road and landed on its side Friday morning.

According to information provided by Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Sgt. Doug Light, a 2016 Kia Optima was traveling north on Ind. 25. Just south of West CR 250S, the vehicle was going too fast through the curve and went off the east side of the road, up an embankment. The car then ended up on its side.

The female driver and her toddler had to be extracted. She had a minor cut on her arm near her elbow. The child suffered no injuries, according to Light. Medical treatment was refused at the scene.
