Minor InjuriesA semi driver suffered only minor injuries after an accident involving two semis on U.S. 30 early this morning. According to Warsaw Police Department Public Information Officer Det. Ryan Coble, both semis were traveling east on U.S. 30 near CR 200N when the first semi, driven by R. Cotner, 64, Winamac, was slowing or stopped at a red light. The driver of the second semi, James Goins, 64, Georgia, rear-ended Cotner’s semi, went left through the median into the westbound lane and overturned in the ditch. Goins suffered minor injuries but was not taken to a hospital. Emergency personnel were called to the accident at 6:30 a.m. As of 9:15 a.m., the scene was still being cleaned up.
