ETNA GREEN - Mina Mellott, 101, Etna Green, died at 8:45 a.m. Feb. 18, 2011, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Dec. 14, 1909, in Kosciusko County, to Daniel and Elizabeth Miller Flory. On March 24, 1932, she married Fred Mellott, who died May 11, 1984.
She was a resident of the Etna Green area all her life. She was a farmer's wife and homemaker. She was a faithful member of the Etna Green Church of Christ, and was a graduate of Etna Green High School.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty L. (and spouse Max) Blackburn, Mentone; a son, Fred A. (and spouse Dena) Mellott, Bourbon; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a daughter, a grandson, three sisters and a brother.
Services will be at noon Tuesday at Etna Green Church of Christ with Pastor Jordan Ickes officiating. Burial will be in Etna Green Cemetery.
Calling is from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the church.
Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
