Milton Leo Mauk, 88, of Warsaw, passed away at 9:35 a.m. July 16, 2013, in Mason Health and Rehab, Warsaw. He was born July 23, 1924, in Cumberland, Md., to Leslie and Pearl Mauk. On June 6, 1947, in Goshen, he married Donna Craig, who died Aug. 6, 2010. He was a 60-year resident of Kosciusko County. He faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps as corporal during World War II and was discharged in 1945. He was a supervisor for Artco Metal Finishing, Goshen, for 35 years. In addition he worked for Mauk’s Auctioneering Service, Warsaw, and operated a home-based lawn mower sales business as a hobby. He was a member of Warsaw American Legion Post 49. Surviving are two daughters, Judy (and spouse Don) Boyer, Winona Lake, and Tammy Stanley, Warsaw; three sons, Tim (and spouse Dawn) Mauk and Jon (and spouse Judy) Mauk, all of Warsaw, and Rex (and spouse Sandy) Mauk, Pierceton; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastors Andy Weaver and Gale Janofski officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, with military honors by members of American Legion Post 49 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1126, both in Warsaw.
