AKRON – Milton L. Cox, 82, of 1027 N. CR 1000E, Akron, died at 7:53 p.m. Jan. 25, 2013, in Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. He was born Jan. 19, 1931, in Fulton County, to Paul and Aletha Clinker Cox. On Feb. 1, 1952, in Huntington, he married Marita P. Clay Cox, who survives in Akron. He lived in the area all of his life and was a truck driver. Also surviving are four children: Deborah (and spouse Bill) Ponko, Warsaw; Marcia Shotts, Indianapolis; and Milton E. Cox and Aletha (and spouse Jeff) Dobbins, all of Silver Lake; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother; and several sisters. A private memorial service is planned.
