Milo Eugene Lindzy, 81, of Warsaw, passed away at 9:04 a.m.  May 14, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born April 14, 1932, in Warsaw, to Cecil Dane and Anna Blanche Ring Lindzy. On Aug. 1, 1955, he married Rosemary Claxton, who died Oct. 4, 1961. He then married Barbara Jean Hazelton July 29, 1962, in South Milford. She died Dec. 7, 2007.
A lifetime resident of Warsaw, he graduated from Warsaw High School in 1951 and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. After his service in the U.S. Navy, he worked as a machinist for White Metal and Clausings and also delivered mobile homes for MDT, Elkhart.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1126 and American Legion Post 49, all in Warsaw, and a lifetime member of American Legion Post 258, Pierceton. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time.
Surviving are five children: Ronald E. (and spouse Robin) Lindzy, Churubusco; Joyce Elaine (and spouse Elois) Brown, Ocala, Fla.; Deborah K. (and spouse Will) Davidson, Silver Lake; Lorie Ann (and spouse John) Oliver, Pierceton; and Rebecca Beth Vanthoff, Warsaw; a sister, Phyllis Elaine Carter, Warsaw; 10 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Zeldon, Lamoine, Ezra and Cecil D. Jr. Lindzy.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Scott Carmer officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. in South Milford Cemetery with military honors.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel.
