Debby Underwood, Pleasanton, Kan., and David Mills, Belton, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Charlotte Mills, Killeen, Texas, to Kristopher Bettinger, Fort Hood, Killenn, Texas. He is the son of Tomi Vollman, Menonomee Falls, Wis., and Rick Bettinger, Warsaw.
The bride-to-be is employed as a licensed practical nurse at Scott & White Hospital, Temple, Texas. She is a 1999 graduate of Pleasanton High School, Pleasanton, Kan. She currently attends Central Texas College where she is pursuing a registered nurse degree.
The groom-elect is a 1997 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. He is a Sergeant First Class in the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Hood, Killeen, Texas.
The couple plan a July 11 wedding in Killeen, Texas.
