Golfers throughout a four-county area will have a chance to earn $500,000 and help the Cardinal Center Inc. in Warsaw, which offers services to the disabled in Kosciusko, Marshall, Cass and Fulton counties. For $1, golfers can try to qualify for the July 18 finals at Stonehenge Golf Course in Winona Lake by landing a ball closest to the pin. The course participating in the qualifying competition today and Sunday are Little Big Horn Golf Club in Pierceton, Maxwelton Golf Club in Syracuse, Raccoon Run Golf Course in Winona Lake, South Shore Golf Course in Syracuse, Plymouth Rock Golf Club in Plymouth, and Sprig-A-Mint Golf Club in Bremen. The lucky individual who happens to make a hole-in-one will win $1 million but must pledge to donate half of it to the Cardinal Center, with the winner receiving $500,000, paid in 360 monthly installments.
