The bride-to-be is a communicable disease nurse at the Kosciusko County Health Dept., Warsaw. She is a 1986 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School, Akron, and earned an associate's degree in the science of nursing from Lutheran College of Health Professions in 2009.
The groom-elect is a staff sergeant of Operations NCOIC in the Indiana Guard Reserve. He graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School, Akron, in 1991, and earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Kansas University, Lawrence, Kan., in 1991. He served in the U.S. Army.
