Miller 60thWes and Mavis Brumbaugh Miller celebrated their 60th anniversary Friday.
They were married Aug. 9, 1959, at Goshen Grace Brethren Chuch with R. Paul Miller officiating.
Wes and Mavis lived in Warsaw from 1959 until 2010, when they moved to Rochester, Mich. In Warsaw, they operated Wes Miller Insurance for many years along with Monoquet Meadows Campground. Wes was a member and past president of the Warsaw Kiwanis Club. Both attended Community Grace Brethren Church and served at both the church and at Warsaw Christian School.
The couple have four children: Marvin (Verlie) Miller, of Warsaw; Lawrence (Kelly) Miller, of Holly Springs, N.C.; Mark (Donna) Miller, of Rochester, Mich.; and Ryan (Mindy) Miller, of Long Beach, Calif. They also have 10 grandchildren: Megan, Kate, Evan, Emily, Kyle, Joshua, Madeline, Jack, Whitney and Austin; and four great-grandchildren.
The family celebrated the anniversary in Rochester, Mich.
