A 19-year-old Milford woman reported Saturday that an alleged rape occurred Thursday night at a Warsaw residence.
According to the Warsaw Police Department, the woman was visiting a friend Thursday night when the friend left the 19-year-old alone with an acquaintance, also 19 years old.
There were children in the house at the time of the incident, whom police assume were asleep at the time of the alleged rape.
The rape allegedly occurred between 9 and 10 p.m. Thursday. Alcohol is believed to be a factor and the incident remains under investigation.
