Hayle Doty, 24, Milford, pled guilty Friday before to the felony offense of conspiracy to distribute marijuana, according to information for the United States Attorney general’s office. Sentencing has been set for April 4. Charges were filed as a result of an investigation by the federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the Laporte County Prosecutor’s Office. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney William Grimmer. If convicted in court, any specific sentence to be imposed will be determined by the judge after a consideration of federal sentencing statutes and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
