Milford Volunteer Retires After 25 Years Of Service

Posted
MILFORD – Lee Price, owner of Price Auto Repair, Milford has retired as a volunteer firefighter with Milford Fire Department.
He served as a volunteer for 28 years.  He followed the tradition of his father, Stan Price, a 15-year fireman, and his grandfather, Glenn Price Sr., on the department for over 20 years. Lee Price’s brother, Mitch, is still an active fireman and received his 25 year plaque this year.
Lee served as an officer at different times in the past three decades and was also an arson investigator. He has been at numerous burning buildings and car accidents and his service has saved many lives and homes, according to his wife, Diana Price.
“We honor the sacrifice that has been required of him: the late night fire calls, the courage in the face of danger, the compassion in the midst of devastation and the time Lee has invested for his community,” she said.
