MILFORD - The Milford School Spring Scholastic Book Fair continues through Friday.
Book fair hours are: Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., in conjunction with grades 3-5 elementary music program.
The school also will have classroom wish lists posted so patrons can purchase a book for classrooms. The school also will offer the One for Books program. This program allows the school to raise more money for books, and Scholastic will match that dollar amount and donate to several literacy organizations. The profits from the book fair are taken completely in books for the school.
The California Desert Restaurant in Milford is hosting a community day for Milford School May 1 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. No coupon or anything is needed to participate. Stop in anytime during the day to eat and the school will receive 25 percent of the profits for the day.
