NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION BY THE TOWN OF MILFORD, INDIANA, REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION DESIGNATING AND DECLARING NORTHERN TIF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA, AND OF APPROVAL BY THE KOSCIUSKO COUNTY AREA PLAN COMMISSION AND OF AN APPROVAL RESOLUTION BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MILFORD, INDIANA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on December 20, 2012 at 10:00 o'clock a.m., the Town of Milford, Indiana, Redevelopment Commission will review and conduct a public hearing upon, the following items: a. Resolution No. 2012-1 of the Town of Milford, Indiana, Redevelopment Commission designating and declaring Northern TIF Economic Development Area to be an economic development area, approving a plan, establishing allocation area for purposes of tax increment financing, and related matters. b. The Resolution of the Kosciusko County Area Plan Commission dated November 7, 2012, approving the above described Resolution of the Town of Milford, Indiana, Redevelopment Commission. c. The Resolution of the Town Council of the Town of Milford, Indiana, approving the Order of .the Kosciusko County Area Plan Commission, approving the Declaratory Resolution of the Town of Milford, Indiana, Economic Redevelopment Commission for the Northern Economic Development Area. All of the above are for the purpose of final approval of an economic development area and tax increment financing area and allocation area for the Northern TIF Economic Development area. A further description of the area affected together with a copy of the Town of Milford, Indiana, Redevelopment Commission and the other Resolutions listed above are available and may be inspected at the office of the Clerk-Treasurer for the Town of Milford, Indiana, 121 South Main Street, Milford Indiana 46542. The Area affected is located at the north and east part of the Town, and is bounded generally by County Road 1350 North on the north, County Road 100 East on the east, County Road 1300 North on the south, and Old State Road 15 on the West. (There are five smaller parcels within the above description that area excluded. The excluded parcels being located 512 East 1300 North, 766 East 1300 North, 13191 North 100 East, 13245 North 100 East, and 13367 North 100 East.) The Northern TIF Economic Development Area is more particularly described as the following real estate in Kosciusko County, Indiana, to-wit: As described in Exhibit A. The substance of the Resolutions to be approved are to allow tax increment financing, a tax increment financing district, and allocation of tax funding from the Northern TIF Economic Development Area, for improvements in the nature of design, acquisition, construction and installation of public infrastructure within the Area as well as for all other matters permitted by Indiana for a TIF economic development area. You are FURTHER NOTIFIED that at the public hearing of December 20, 2012, the Town of Milford, Indiana, Redevelopment Commission will receive and hear all comments, remonstrances, and objections, from interested persons or from anyone else who may attend. In addition, anyone may, prior to the meeting, submit to the Clerk-Treasurer of the Town of Milford, Indiana, any written comments, and those written comments will be considered at the hearing. After hearing, the Town Indiana, Redevelopment Commission, will and shall take final action with regard ·to the proposed Northern TIF Economic Development Area and may pass a Resolution with regard to confirming and adopting the Resolutions and creating the Northern TIF Economic Development Area.
