Milford School students held a car wash Friday to raise money for Combined Community Services, 110 E. Prairie St., Warsaw. In 1-1/2 hours, the students washed a lot of cars and raised $214. According to teacher Mary Brower, one guy donated $5 to have his car washed. When he discovered the car wash was a benefit for CCS, he gave another $20 because CCS had helped him pay a bill when he was unemployed. The students then took what they raised and bought groceries for CCS’s food pantry. They delivered the food Monday morning.
