MILFORD – The town of Milford has been placed under a boil order until further notice. During a telephone interview this morning, Randy Veach, Milford utilities superintendent, said the town was placed under the boil order Thursday night. The boil order was a result of a water main break and residents are advised to boil their water to avoid contamination before drinking it, Veach said. Veach said there needs to be two consecutive water samples before the boil order expires. A water test will be done today and one Saturday and taken to an independent lab to have the water further tested. The town will have water test results by Monday, Veach said.
