Milford Man Sentenced To Time Served

SOUTH BEND - A Milford man was sentenced recently to time served for interstate communication of threats to injure.
According to a news release from the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Indiana, Douglas Thrams, 24, Milford, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Cristal C. Brisco after pleading guilty to making interstate communication with a threat to injure. Thrams previously was listed as being from Goshen.
After serving 10 months, 14 days in custody, Thrams was sentenced to time served followed by two years of supervised release.
According to documents in the case, in January 2025, Thrams posted a series of threatening videos to his TikTok account. In the videos, Thrams advocated for the bombing of government buildings and the assassination of politicians.
This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the United States Secret Service, with assistance from the Goshen Police Department and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Lydia T. Lucius.
