WAKARUSA – A Milford man is in critical condition after a crash on Friday. Robert Emerick, 46, Milford, was driving south on Ind. 19 when police say his truck went left of center and hit a Jeep driven by Eric Wallace, Napa, Calif. Emerick was airlifted to South Bend Memorial Hospital with head injuries and a broken leg. The hospital confirmed this morning that Emerick is in critical condition. Wallace was taken to Elkhart General Hospital with a cut to his hand and bleeding from the face. Nancy Wallace, 69, a passenger in Wallace’s Jeep, was also taken to Elkhart General with rib pain.
