A Milford man is in jail after allegedly walking into the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department and confessing to molesting two boys in Kosciusko County and two other counties.
Jerry Wayne Lecount, 45, of 13918 N. CR 400W, Milford, was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail at 11:06 p.m. Thursday and faces a Level 4 felony charge of child molesting and a Level 5 felony charge of child solicitation.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed Jan. 9 in Kosciusko Superior Court I, on Nov. 20 Indiana State Police received a report that Lecount had walked into the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department and confessed to molesting two male juveniles in LaGrange, Kosciusko and Marshall counties.
When police interviewed Lecount, according to court papers, Lecount said these incidents occurred in early 2019 and again in August 2019.
