Milford Man Booked After Mobile Meth Bust

Posted
What started as an investigation into a suspicious vehicle in a store parking lot ended with the arrest of a Milford man on meth charges.

Warsaw Police Department Lt. Joe Stanley started an investigation of a suspicious vehicle at 10:15 p.m. Wednesday outside Walgreen's in Warsaw.

During the investigation, police found a mobile meth lab in the initial process of production, inside a 1999 Chevy Malibu.

Large amounts of precursors used in the manufacture of methamphetamine were located and seized.

Juan Palmer Olivo, 31, of 311 W. 4th St., Milford, was booked into Kosciusko County Jail on possession of anhydrous ammonia, possession of two or more precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of marijuana, all Class D felonies.

Police say they expect more charges against Olivo.

The owner of the vehicle was released, but police say they are requesting warrants for that individual as well.

WPD was assisted by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department and the Indiana State Police.
