Milford House Fire Called SuspiciousMILFORD – The Sunday morning house fire in Milford is being investigated as suspicious, according to Milford Fire Department Fire Chief Todd Haines.

No further information on the investigation was available as of this morning.

The fire at 109 S. James St., was reported at about 12:23 a.m. Sunday. It is owned by Roger Korenstra.

No one was injured. The home was being renovated and was not occupied at the time of the fire.

Along with the Milford Fire Department, the Plain Township Fire Department and Lutheran EMS assisted at the scene. Approximately 35 firefighters helped battle the blaze.
