MILFORD – Milford Food Bank announced it has been awarded a $5,000 Community Fund grant from the Kosciusko County Community Foundation (KCCF).
KCCF's Community Fund grants support nonprofit organizations that address pressing community needs and improve the quality of life for county residents. This grant will directly support the Food Bank’s mission to combat hunger by enabling the purchase of food to be shared with its network of food partners in Kosciusko County. Food partners of Milford Food Bank include food pantries, community kitchens, shelters, recovery facilities, schools and churches.
“We are deeply grateful to the Kosciusko County Community Foundation for this impactful grant,” said Angie Deak, Milford Food Bank development manager. “This support strengthens our ability to provide consistent, reliable food access to the organizations on the front lines of fighting hunger in our community.”
Milford Food Bank serves as a vital link in the hunger relief chain, distributing food to partners who serve hundreds of thousands of individuals and families in need all over Michiana, according to a provided news release. Learn more and get involved at www.milfordfoodbank.org.
