MILFORD - Due to the resignation of Milford EMS President Thad Tinkey, Steve Moore will serve as president and Shannon Price will serve as vice president, it was announced at the Milford Town Council meeting Monday.

Tinkey resigned for personal reasons.

The council approved up to $2,000 to buy a computer for the utilities department.

Spring clean-up for Milford will be April 27 to 29. More information will be provided later.

Because of the expansion of The Papers Inc., there will be increased traffic on First and Emmeline streets. The council discussed contacting Norfolk Southern about putting flashing lights at the railroad crossing.

The clerk's office will be closed March 7 for a training day.

Members of the Milford Town Council are Douglas Ruch, Robert Phillips and John Lehman, president.
