Milford police are searching for a man and woman who allegedly tried to abduct three children Sunday.
After additional interviews with the three young girls who reported the incident, police gained more details of the alleged abductors.
The female was described as white, middle-aged, with short dark hair, and was wearing a green coat and red sweatshirt. She is approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs between 110-115 pounds.
The male was described as white, with black hair that was considerably balding on top. He looked to be in his 40s.
The two were in a 1995 red Mustang convertible with a black top. The car had stickers in the front windshield similar to those from a car lot.
The Milford Police are continuing their investigation to find the couple.
Three area girls, ages 8, 9, and 10, were in-line skating at the Milford Elementary School playground around 1:30 p.m. Sunday. There was an invitational basketball tournament at the school for youths from northern Indiana.
Police said the two suspects may not be local because teams from Fort Wayne, Mishawaka and Auburn were at the school Sunday. Anyone with information on the incident or suspects should contact the Milford Police.
Police said there have been no other reports of attempted abductions in the area.
