Mildred Reents Leedy, 87, of Warsaw, died at 10:50 p.m. Oct. 11, 2008, in Parkwood Health Care Center, Lebanon.
She was born Oct. 8, 1921, in Warsaw, to Ralph and Nora Sutherlin Gross. She married Edward J. Reents, who died Aug. 15, 1962. She then married Lenhardt Bauer, who died Feb. 21, 1986. She then married Earl Leedy, who died Dec. 3, 2007.
Living most of her life in the Warsaw area, she was a homemaker and worked at Agricultural Stabilization & Conservation Service, Warsaw, and Terre Haute. She graduated from Leesburg High School in 1939, and Indiana Business College, Fort Wayne. She attended Morris Chapel and North Winona Church of the Brethren, Warsaw.
Surviving are two sons, Steve (and spouse Carol) Reents, Frankfort, and Mark (and spouse Mary) Reents, Los Osos, Calif.; four grandchildren: Jason Reents, Indianapolis; Julie (and spouse Tracy) Wood, Eureka, Mo.; Alan Reents, Eugene, Ore.; and Cary Reents, Fresno, Calif.; and four great-grandchildren, Harper, Fletcher, Reagan and Savannah. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethel Bauer and Lucille McCleary, and a brother, Clarence Gross.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Rachel Bales-Case officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
