AKRON — Mildred O. Harrold, 97, Akron, died at 11 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 19, 1919, in Kosciusko County, to Oren and Grace Cook Craig. On Nov. 26, 1942, she was married to Dorris L. Harrold, who died June 9, 2009.
She taught in the Franklin, Beaver Dam and Warsaw school systems.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, with visitation one hour prior, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron. Pastor Evelyn Haney will officiate, and burial will be in Akron Cemetery.
Visitation also will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
