Mildred “Millie” J. Anderson, 84, formerly of Goshen, died July 26, 2014, at her residence. She had been in failing health for several months. She was born Nov. 25, 1929, in North Judson, to Joseph and Anna Hulka Svatos. On Feb. 15, 1948, in Brookfield, Ill., she married James Webb Anderson, who died May 1, 1995. An area resident since 1974, she relocated to the Barbee Lake area in 2008. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Women of the Moose 1047. She is survived by two sons, Terry (and companion Ginger Sayre) Anderson, North Webster, and Scott (and spouse Louise) Anderson, Evanston, Ill,; two grandchildren, Jessica and Glenn; a sister, Ann (and spouse Don) Kearns, Athens, Wis.; and a sister-in-law, Lori Svatos, Richmond, Va. She also was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings: Robert, George and Joe Svatos and Delores Dean. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial is in West Goshen Cemetery.
