NORTH MANCHESTER – Mildred J. Craig, 84, of North Manchester, died at 1:20 p.m. Sept. 26, 2012, in Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
She was born Sept. 11, 1928, in Dudley, Ill., to John and Cora Galey Reeley. On July 20, 1947, she married Charles V. Craig, who survives.
She was a homemaker and babysat in her home for many years. She graduated from Redmon (Ill.) High School in 1946. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Elkhart, and a former member of Belles & Beaus Square Dance Club. She was a former 4-H leader and Cub Scout den mother. She wintered in Pharr, Texas, for 22 years and attended church at Tip-O-Texas Resort.
Also surviving are three daughters, Charlotte (and spouse Peter) Ruch, E. Anne (and spouse Rod) Ritenour and Trish (and spouse Alan) Lauer, all of North Manchester; a brother, Floyd Reeley, Paris, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with the Rev. Kurt Stout officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
