RUSHVILLE – Mildred Hutchinson Borders, 89, passed away May 21, 2014, in Warsaw. She was born in 1925 in Rush County to Warnie and Lounetta Hutchinson. On Sept. 24, 1942, she married Glen Borders, who survives. She lived most of her life in Rushville, where she was a 1943 graduate of Arlington High School. She was a member of Rushville Church of God since she was a child. Her love of playing the piano entertained her family and all who knew her. The last time her family heard her play the piano was two years ago at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw, where she resided since November 2008. Also surviving are two daughters, Jackie Cook and Lois Patmore; three sons: Bob, Maurice and Fred Borders; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Clemadine Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Marcella Maze; and daughter, Bonnie Lou. Services will be at 1 p.m. May 30, at Moster Mortuary, Rushville, with the Revs. Charles Justice and Martin Justice, her grandson, officiating. Burial is in Arlington East Hill Cemetery, Arlington.
