NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC OF ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF PIERCETON, INDIANA AND OF A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF TAX ABATEMENT AND WAIVER Notice is hereby given that on October 10, 2016, the Town Council of Pierceton, Indiana adopted Declaratory Resolution No. 10-1-16, which Resolution provides in substance as follows: Whereas the real estate located at 1 Arnolt Drive, Pierceton, IN, as more fully described in the Resolution ("Real Estate") has been declared an Economic Revitalization Area (ERA), and additional improvement of the Real Estate would benefit and would promote the welfare of all citizens and taxpayers in Pierceton, Kosciusko County, Indiana. The Pierceton Town Council also declared that deductions for ten (10) years for new manufacturing equipment installed in the ERA would be granted for Midwest Roll Forming and Mfg., Inc. A description of the affected area is available and can be inspected in the Pierceton Clerk/Treasurer's Office. The Pierceton Town Council also found that it should approve the Statements of Benefits filed by Midwest Roll Forming and Mfg., Inc. ("Company") for proposed projects located on the Real Estate for such 10 year abatement deductions. Finally, the Pierceton Town Council resolved to hold a public hearing to consider Company's request for the adoption of a waiver under Ind. Code § 6-1.1-12.1-11.3 regarding the requirement that filing an application must occur before the initiation of the project for which a person desires to claim a deduction under Ind. Code § 6-1.1-12.1. A public hearing on these matters will be held by the Pierceton Town Council on November 14, 2016, at 6:30 o'clock P.M. in the Town Hall, 105 Walnut St., Pierceton, Indiana. At this hearing, the Pierceton Town Council will receive and hear all remonstrances and objections from interested persons and take final action on the Statements of Benefits and Request for Waiver.
