Regional Mobility Action Plan
The Michiana Area Council of Governments (MACOG) is excited to announce the release of the draft Regional Mobility Action Plan (RMP). This plan is designed to serve as the region’s Coordinated Public Transit - Human Services Transportation Plan and aims to identify gaps and barriers in transportation services for people with disabilities, older adults, and low-income residents.
The draft RMP will be available for public review and comment from July 8 through August 7, 2024. A draft of the plan can be accessed at public libraries, the MACOG office (227 W. Jefferson Blvd. Rm 1120, South Bend, IN 46601) or on the MACOG website. (https://macog.com/transit.html#mobility_plan).
To facilitate public participation, MACOG will host a virtual Open House on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with registration information found at the link above. During this event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the plan, ask questions, and provide feedback.
