NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
INTERURBAN TROLLEY FIXED ROUTE and / or
ACCESS PARATRANSIT SERVICE
Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the Michiana Area Council of Governments (MACOG) in the office located at 227 W. Jefferson Blvd., 1120 CountyCity Building, South Bend, IN 46601; until 4:00 pm (ET) January 8, 2024, for qualified transportation service provider(s) for the operation of the Interurban Trolley Fixed Route Bus Service and / or the Interurban Trolley Access Paratransit Service in the cities of Elkhart and Goshen, Indiana. Providers may offer proposals for one or both services.
The RFP may be obtained at www.macog.com/procurement_opportunities.html, in the MACOG office between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM (ET) Monday through Friday, by calling 574-287-1829, or by email macogdir@macog.com beginning November 28, 2023. A pre-proposal conference may be held on December 20, 2023, if requested in writing before 4:00 PM (ET) on December 13, 2023. MACOG is the recipient of Federal Transportation Administration (FTA) funds intended to provide operating assistance to qualified transportation providers through a transit services contract with MACOG. Please submit sealed proposals to the MACOG office, Attn: Transit Services RFP, by 4:00 PM, January 8, 2024.
