NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
REGIONAL VANPOOL PROGRAM
Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the Michiana Area Council of Governments (MACOG) in the office located at 227 W. Jefferson Blvd., 11th Floor CountyCity Building, South Bend, IN 46601; until 4:00 pm (ET) May 16, 2024, for a qualified transportation service provider for the operation of a Regional Vanpool Program.
The RFP may be obtained at www.macog.com/procurement_opportunities.html, in the MACOG office between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM (ET) Monday through Friday, by calling 574-287-1829, or by email macogdir@macog.com beginning April 16, 2024. A pre-submission meeting may be held on May 2, 2024, if requested in writing before 4:00 PM (ET) on April 26, 2024. Please submit sealed proposals to the MACOG office, Attn: Regional Vanpool Program RFP, by 4:00 PM, on May 16, 2024.
MACOG is the recipient of Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Congestion Mitigation Air Quality (CMAQ) and Federal Transportation Administration (FTA) funds and may utilize federal, state, and local funding sources to fund the vanpool program subsidy through a service contract with a qualified transportation provider.
