SFY 2018-2021 Transportation Improvement Program
The Michiana Area Council of Governments (MACOG) has developed a State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2018-2021 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The TIP is a four-year program of federally-funded highway, transit, and other transportation projects for Elkhart, Kosciusko, Marshall, and St. Joseph Counties, Indiana.
A draft of the proposed program may be viewed at area public libraries, MACOG’s office, or on MACOG’s website (www.macog.com). A review and comment period on the proposed program begins on March 27, 2017 and extends until April 26, 2017. As part of its public participation process, MACOG will offer an Open House from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (EDT), Thursday, April 20, 2017, in the MACOG Conference Room (227 W. Jefferson Blvd., Room 1120, South Bend, IN).
The MACOG TIP fulfills requirements for the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) public involvement process. This TIP public participation process is being used to satisfy the South Bend and Elkhart-Goshen Urbanized Area Section 5307 Program of Projects (POP) requirements.
