NORTH WEBSTER – Michael Ray “Mike” Moore, 59, Pierceton, died Aug. 28, 2013, from injuries sustained in an accident involving the semi-truck he was driving on I-75 near Dayton, OH. He was born Jan. 8, 1954, in Warsaw, to Raymond and Josephine Nelson Moore. On Dec. 15, 1972, in Fort Wayne, he married Karen Lynn Wall, who survives in Pierceton. He was a lifetime North Manchester and Pierceton area resident and graduated in 1972 from Manchester High School. He was employed as a truck driver for Central Transport for the past six years. Also surviving are two daughters, Brooke (and spouse Eric) Beck, Pierceton, and Jessica Moore, Roanoke; a son, Travis Michael (and spouse Brooke) Moore, Huntington; his parents, Ray and Josephine Moore, Huntington; a sister, Crystal (and spouse Dave) Anderson, Columbia City; two brothers, Roger (and spouse Peg) Moore, Indianapolis; and Ed (and spouse Pat) Moore, Urbana; and two grandchildren.
