POWELL, Tenn. – Michael Ray Hearn, Powell, Tenn., passed from this life to his eternal home in heaven Dec. 17, 2013. He was born to Jim and Verlyn Hearn, Leesburg. He was married to Lori Utley Hearn, who survives. He graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1984. He was a faithful husband, father, son, friend and follower of Jesus Christ. His selfless life and kind, gracious heart has been a true testimony of God’s amazing grace. His passion and servant heart lives on in the many lives he has touched. Also surviving are his parents; two children, Davis and Mallory; his brother David Hearn and family, Jonesborough, Tenn.; in-laws, Carl and Pam Utley and family, Granbury, Texas; and many other brothers and sisters in Christ. It is with both great sorrow and rejoicing that we say farewell, but not good-bye, for we know we will see him again in heaven when the Lord calls us home, too! Services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Powell, with Pastor Phil Jones and the Rev. Kent Williams officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Lynnhurst Cemetery. Calling will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church.
