Michael ‘Mike’ Lloyd BooneNORTH MANCHESTER – Michael “Mike” Lloyd Boone, 58, North Manchester, died at 8:57 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at his residence.
He was born April 12, 1962, to Billy and Mary K. Wineke Boone.
He married Jennifer Clinton on Dec. 3, 1983. She survives.
Mike worked for Zimmer Biomet for 32 years.
Mike graduated from Peru High School in 1980 and later graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business. He will always be remembered for his dry sense of humor and was always quick with a joke. He deeply cared about his family and how they were getting along. He relished his time vacationing with his family hiking, being in the mountains especially the national parks. He loved riding his motorcycle, ATVs and driving his Jeep. Mike was eager to teach his son and daughter and enjoyed building things, most recently his garage.
He is survived by son, Kyle (Leah) Boone, Paw Paw, Mich.; daughter, Allison (Kirk) Powers, Fort Wayne; brother, Robert (Joellen) Boone, Greencastle; sisters: Marsha Keller, Peru, Ind.; Billie (Gary) Miller, Peru, Ind.; and grandchildren, Kane and Lily Powers.
He was preceeded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law, Richard Keller.
Calling hours are from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, July 17 at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind. 114 West, North Manchester. Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Friday, July 17 at the funeral home with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be at Ever Rest Memorial Park, 8315 Logansport Road, Logansport.
