Michael L. "Mick" Habegger, 51, of 2797 W. CR 700N, Leesburg, was found dead at 10:33 a.m. May 29, 2008, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 17, 1956, in Warsaw, to Danny G. and Annabelle Henline Habegger. On Sept. 28, 1985, he married Loretta A. Vealey, who died May 29, 2008.
He was a 1974 Warsaw High School graduate. A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, he worked for more than 30 years as a polisher for Zimmer Inc., Warsaw. He attended Warsaw Community Church.
Survivors include a son, Rodney Habegger, Warsaw; two brothers, Edd Habegger, Leesburg, and George Alexander, Port Charlotte, Fla.; and two sisters, Diane Pifer, Warsaw, and Julia Mazelin, Haines City, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Services will be at 11 a.m. June 7 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Edd Habegger officiating. His ashes will be scattered in Florida at a later date.
