LEESBURG, Fla. – Michael L. Layton, 66, Leesburg, Fla., died March 14, 2015, in The Villages. He was married to his wife of 29 years, Jane Layton, who survives in Leesburg. He was a graduate of Linden-McKinley High School, Columbus, Ohio. He drove for United Parcel Service for 35 years, and served as a union steward. He retired in 2001, and moved to Pennbrooke Fairways in Leesburg. He loved model trains. Also surviving are two sons, Tim and Mark (and spouse Mary) Mort, all of Pierceton; a stepsister, Lisa Martin, Kentucky; four grandchildren: Justin, Samantha, Austin and Dillon Mort; two great-grandchildren, Lexee and Lilee; and other extended family.
