SYRACUSE — Michael James "Mike" Mignery, 84, Cromwell, passed away at 9:03 a.m. Sunday, June 11, 2017, at Goshen Hospital. He was born Oct. 15, 1932, in St. Joseph, Mo., to William J. and Nastina “Nell” Pukszyn Mignery.
He graduated in 1950 from Jefferson High School in Elkhart County. He was married on Dec. 24, 1951, in Goshen, to Meredith Lee Hess, who survives.
He moved to Cromwell in 1958 from Goshen. He was the owner/operator of AAA Marine Covers, Cromwell, since 1963 and was very active in the upholstery restorative process of many cars at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum.
He was a member of the Rock Church, Cromwell.
He is survived by his wife, Meredith Mignery, Cromwell; two daughters, Cindy Davison, Fort Wayne, and Michelle Mignery, Syracuse; a son - Mark (Sandy) Mignery, Cromwell; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; a brother, William C. Mignery, Cromwell; and a daughter in law, Nancy Mignery, Warsaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Patrick Mignery; and great-granddaughter, Samantha Muchowicz.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw.
Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, June 25, at the Rock Church, 9564 E. 1050N, Cromwell. Memorial services will follow at 3 p.m. in the church, with Dr. Gary and Pastor Sarah Tuttle officiating.
