Michael J. Shipley, 55, formerly of Winona Lake, died at 11 a.m. May 11, 2012, in his residence.
He was born Aug. 5, 1956, in Marion, to Curtis J. and Kathryn V. Shipley, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are a son, Jay Michael Shipley (and fiance Jennie Morris and her son), all of Kansas; his ex-wife, Rhonda Shipley, Jonesboro; stepchildren, Shane, Brandon and Jeremy Keirstead and Kayla (and spouse Sam) Stanton, all of Jonesboro; a step-grandson; two sisters, Tracey (and spouse Bill) Flannery, Silver Lake, and Lisa Shipley, Mentone; and two brothers, Steven Shipley, Warsaw, and Timothy Shipley, Orlando, Fla. He was preceded in death by a sister.
Services are pending at Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Gas City.
