NORTH MANCHESTER – Michael G. Sroufe, 55, of North Manchester, died at 8:20 p.m. Nov. 15, 2011, in his residence.
He was born Sept. 14, 1956, in Wabash, to George R. and L. Louise Snell Sroufe, who survive in North Manchester. On Dec. 19, 1975, he married Melonie L. Kreider, who survives.
He was a welder at Peabody Seating Co., North Manchester; Parker Industry, Silver Lake; and worked in maintenance and and as a groundskeeper at Manchester Recreation Association, North Manchester. He attended Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester.
Surviving are a son, Bradley A. Sroufe (and Kelly M. Schinbeckler), Warsaw; a daughter, Valerie A. (and spouse Ronald III) Hull, Austin, Ariz.; a sister, Barbara (and spouse Bob) Jester, North Manchester; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery, Servia.
Calling is from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
