Michael E. “Mikey” Baker, 55, of Warsaw, passed away at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 4, 2011, in Elkhart Hospice House.
He was born Dec. 24, 1955, in Fort Myers, Fla., to Ovey and Pearl “Martina” Griffin Baker. On March 21, 1987, he married Judy Kindig, who survives.
Moving to Warsaw from Fort Myers in 2006, he was a member of Touch of Life Church, Warsaw. He was baptized, was a loving father, husband and grandpa and loved to fish.
Also surviving are two daughters, Jessica and Jamie Baker, both of Warsaw; a son, Joshua Baker, Warsaw; a brother, John (and spouse Linda) Giddens, Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Katherine (and spouse Norman) Baker- Denslow, Sapphire, N,C.; a granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Touch Of Life Church, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Rick Cooper of Touch of Life Church. Burial will be at a later date.
Calling is from 4:30 p.m. until the time of service Friday at the church.
