SYRACUSE – Michael W. “Doc” Doom, 63, Syracuse, passed away at 9:43 a.m. June 16, 2015, in his residence. He was born Nov. 29, 1951, in East St. Louis, Ill., to William O. and Helen J. Kimes Doom. On July 7, 2007, in Syracuse, he married Donna R. Martin Laudenslager, who survives. He graduated from Triad High School in Illinois and moved to Syracuse in 1998 from Collinsville, Ill. He was self-employed and enjoyed working on arcade game machines. Also surviving are his mother, Caseyville, Ill.; a stepson, Chris (and spouse Lisa) Laudenslager, Sexton, Mo.; a sister, Peggy (and spouse William) Gorden, St. Louis, Mo.; a brother, Patrick Doom, Collinsville, Ill.; and two stepgrandchildren, Christopher and Hunter Laudenslager. He was preceded in death by his father. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw. No calling or services are planned. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S.
