ARGOS - Michael C. Johnson, 42, of 126 EMS Lane D21, Syracuse, died at 7:30 p.m. July 12, 2007, in his residence following a six-month illness.

He was born Nov. 8, 1964, in South Bend, to Lloyd and Shirley Chalk Johnson. On Dec. 3, 1988, in Warsaw, he married Francine "Missy" Kelly, who survives.

Living most of his life in Kosciusko County, he was an orthopedic machinist at Biomet, Warsaw. He was the Dewart Lake Protection Association lane director. He loved hunting and fishing.

Also surviving are a daughter, Krista Johnson, at home; a son, Aaron Johnson, at home; his mother, Shirley Johnson, Syracuse; and a sister, Mrs. Dennis (Doralee) Pinkerton, Milford. He was preceded in death by his father.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Wawasee Community Bible Church, 2035 E. CR 1300N, Milford, with Chaplain Clair Hochstetler officiating. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Milford.

Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
