SYRACUSE – Michael Allen “Mike” Haab, 43, Syracuse, passed away Nov. 30, 2015. He was born June 2, 1972, in Goshen, to Donald O. “Don” and Martha Hostetler Haab. On April 11, 1998, in Milford, he married Christy L. Cole, who survives in Syracuse. He was a lifetime Syracuse area resident and graduated in 1990 from Fairfield High School. He was a farmer and formerly worked at Bender Construction and Forest River, both in Goshen. He attended Grace Bible Baptist Church, New Paris, and Calvary Baptist Church, Nappanee. Also surviving are his parents, Don and Martha Haab, Syracuse; two sons, Trevor and Trenton Haab, at home; a sister, Rose (and spouse Lowell) Bender, Syracuse; three brothers, Jeff (and spouse Shannon), Tom (and spouse Jodi) and Andy Haab, all of Syracuse. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Grace Bible Baptist Church, New Paris, with Pastor Mike Gross officiating. Private family burial will take place in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Milford.
