This is in response to Mr. Guard's attack on Mr. Metzger on the MIAs.A few years back there were several joint Congressional hearings on the MIAs. In these hearings there was testimony given where there was reported sightings of MIAs in China, Russia, North Korea and in Vietnam. It was reported that over the years messages was secretly smuggled out of all these countries. Messages that were turned over to both the Pentagon and to the State Dept. These messages contained among other things not made public, the MIAs' names, serial numbers, ranks in service, dates of capture, and present locations when the messages were written. Live sighting were also reported, sightings where these men had chains on their ankles, some kind of belts around their waist with chains attached, and others that had a dog type of collar around their necks with chains attached, and were reported to both the State Department and to the Pentagon. Some of these sightings were given to our government officials by those of these other countries.
The result of these hearings was what is called a clean joint Congressional-funded investigational bill. A bill where Congress wanted a Congressional MIA investigation to see if all these reports were in fact true and, if true, to seek the return of the MIAs. A clean bill is one that only needs a up or down vote of both Congressional houses to become in force.
The House of Representatives voted almost a 100 percent for this bill. In the senate of 100 senators, only one senator, yes, Mr. Editor, only one Senator took it up on his self to kill this clean bill. He killed it by attaching amendment after amendment after amendment to this bill to where it could not get an up or down vote in the Senate. Who was this senator? Who was this one man who did not want a Congressional investigation into these MIAs? Who was this so-called great American hero? It was none other than Mr. United States Senator John McCain.
The question is, why would this so-called hero want to stop an investigation? Could it be that if there was an investigation it would show that he did give the Russians key highly educated men? Men who had missile, high-tech knowledge of both weapon electronics and manufacture. Knowledge that would be worth a king's ransom to a foreign country's military use.
It has been certainly reported that after Mr. McCain spoke to the Russian interrogators there were certain POWS that came up missing or was seen leaving certain POW camps under guard never to ever be seen again. What happen to these men? Where did they go? Some have been reported to be in Russia. Mr. Metzger scores four, accusers none. The next letter will be on the nut we have for a president.
